Flexible Learning Options

The Tangaza University College Bachelor in Counselling Psychology programme is administered in two ways:

Regular Path Programme:

– For students coming from secondary school intending to pursue the course on a full-time basis

– Classes Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 2:30pm

– This path takes 3 years

– In this path you will specialize on Youth Counselling

Completion Path Programme: 

– For students who already have a Diploma in Counselling Psychology

– Classes on Friday and Saturday 8:30pm to 2:30pm

– This path takes 2 years

– In this path you will specialize in Marriage and Family Counselling

Intakes: 

– January and August

Prerequisites

For students aiming to join the regular programme we accept applicants with:

– A C+ and above in the (K.C.S.E) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examiniations OR its equivalent

For students aiming to join the completion path we accept applicants with:

– A recognised Diploma in Counselling Psychology degree from an accredited institution.
